Is Naturopathic Medicine right for you?

on September 6, 2007

Have you seen too many doctors with no relief from your symptoms?
Do you want to eliminate the root of your illness?
Are you concerned about drug side effects?
Do you want to take charge of your health?
Do you want optimal health?
Are you confused about which dietary supplements to take?
Do you want a doctor who really listens?
Are you tired of being treated for your symptoms, instead of as a person?

If your answer is “Yes!,” to any one of these questions, Naturopathic Medicine deserves your consideration.

Dr. Fleischmann earned his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Licensed by the state of Oregon as a Primary Care Physician (New York does not yet license N.D.’s), he also received extensive knowledge in Auricular Medicine and Bio-Therapeutic Drainage.

By blending the art of natural therapeutics with modern medical science, Dr. Evan Fleischmann seeks to “identify and treat” the causes of illness in the least invasive way. This dynamic approach to health care focuses on empowering the individual to move beyond dependence on medication, be it pharmaceutical or natural.

Evan’s desire to help people heal naturally, stems from being diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome at age fourteen, where the only treatment option given to him was a drug that could change his personality and damage his liver. Evan’s search to heal himself became the catalyst for becoming a Naturopathic Doctor and to help other’s seeking alternative ways of healing.

Dr. Fleischmann is a member of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. He is a Visiting Faculty Member of the Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts and Sciences and a past board member of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians.

“He listens with his heart and responds from his soul – Evan Fleischmann is truly a healer – working with him has not only been healing, but transformational.” - Carolyn Pedersen, Artist
